Right, so I was sitting in the lab writing up my dissertation, which is due ion a week from tomorrow. I guy doing my course came in and we chatted a bit about the deadlines coming up. Since we also have a coursework essay due in this week, I mentioned that I'd have it ready for wednesday. You can imagine my displeasure when this guy told me that it was, in fact due in tomorrow. I was sure it was on wednseday, but surely enough when I checked the course handbook, I discovered that it is, in fact, due tomorrow. And worth 6.25% of my final degree mark.

So, I rushed back to college and finished the essay. But if he hadn't happened to walk in at 9 o'clock at night, it wouldn't have got done.

Whew.
