The winners all were toasted.

During that Ciddies splendor.

Not to sound rude to anyone in this thread, but I strongly suggest that nobody gets their hopes up and just treats this not as a chance to win awards but more as a chance to have a good time and help other people with their chances of winning. Some members have spent years here without winning, some have got their first award within a few months, some have waited for three years or so before getting anything. I know I watched four or so sets of awards before I got my first awards (Hell, I don't think I got a single vote before then, either... but then again it was a much smaller board then).

If I remember rightly, last time (December 2004) the Ciddies (by year) were split something like three Ciddies to members who registered in 1999, 16 to members of 2000, 12 to 2001, 12 to 2002, four to 2003 and five to members who had joined that year.

I really do hate to sound discouraging, but I don't want people to get upset like a couple did last time. Breaks mah heart. Winning takes years. If you win in your first year at EoFF, you're one of a very, very small percentage to have done so. Just concentrate on having fun and trust me, it's much more... well, fun! And fun is good. And I don't know about anyone else, but I find the Ciddies (and the EoFF Awards of old) to be pretty fun. Even when I wasn't winning, I got involved and found the results pretty amusing.
