How do you teach 4th limit breaks

I have catastrophe for barret but when ever i goto items to give it to him he keeps on saying My Head Hurts. How do you teach it to him.

You have to learn all six other limit breaks (two level 1, two level 2 and two level 3) for that character before they can learn their 4th level limit break.

To advance to the second Limit Break in a given limit level, you need to use the first Break a certain number of times. Reset your Limit level to 2, and use Grenade Bomb several times. Barret should learn Hammerblow. If that's the only precursor Limit you're missing, you should be able to add Catastrophe.

I once gained Meterain before I learned Clim Hazzard, it was a real annoyance. You have to go back to that lower level to learn Hammerblow.
Then there are these items you have to find, one for each character (except Cait Sith who only has two limits) which is also a real annoyance.
