How do u make ur chocobo to dig up items? I followed the instructions on game guide but it only says where the items are and nothing on how to dig. HELP~!

it's annoying until you get it figured out.

Use the sounder button, then set it to dig mode, then dig.

something with the square and X buttons. but I can't remember offhand which and in what orderXD

Just equip the Ziner (Not the one that sounds) and hold it down. Walk to the place the item should be and voila! You have just earned yourself a crappy item that you will never use.

Chocobos can dig up stuff on FFVIII? o__O

Yes after you find the odd chocobo chick you get a chocobo then you can search for the secret treasure if you find it a chocobo will always be avaible in that forest.
