By the way we never see the city white (at least I never saw it ).

If you discover the keyword on the last line the rest of the riddle will be straight.

Of course its logical. I wouldn't try to pull a possible answer from out of thin air, or out of my a$$. Nor would I try to make $hit up that alters, or creates a new storyline, to fit an unrealistic assumption.

Weird. My post disappeared. Maybe an update was lost.

Anyway, from a physics standpoint, white light is a combination of all visible frequencies of light. White light can then be broken up into a rainbow of colors by a prism or raindrops.

But you mention it's white but also beyond infrared. Wouldn't that be transparent then? Although even transparent things have colors, just not visible ones.

I'm gonna just throw one out there, as my old Physics Text Book is at my parents place.

"Due to the powers of an evil sorceress on a place beyond infrared" - Used by Ultimecia, in the future

"But thanks to me some heros will be able to walk beyond blue." - The heroes use it to travel to ultimecia's compressed time.

You have to hit the exact right frequency in order to allow timecompression.

Infrared has much less frequency than Blue which means higher period.
The meaning of the rest is easy.

Ah....so "one (1) must stomp on the frenquency" meant 1 over Frenquency (1/F), which is equal to Period, T (1/F = T). And a period (T) also refers to Time, which leads us to Time Compression.

It doesn't say that anywhere. If using such a high-tech, and sensitive device such as the junction machine ellone, one would think that it would have to be incredibally accurate, and that any waves that may be created would have to have the perfect frequency in order to achieve time compression. The thought of that, was something I just pieced into your riddle, more a guess than anything, to try to make sense of it, because I pieced Ultimecia into it, the heros that can go beyond blue, etc.

I thought Gilgamesh at first.

I had misinterpreted that line, and thought it was referring to Seifer getting wiped out by Gilgamesh. Seifer had the "power to find" Gilgamesh, by eliminating Odin.

But "defeat shall come at the hands" means that Seifer would have to be the one who was victorious, which wasn't the case. If the answer is Gilgamesh, the line should have been written more like: "defeat shall come to he who has the power to find me"...

The reason the riddle is the way I wrote it, and not like that stated above, i.e. :

"defeat shall come to he who has the power to find me"...

is because the answer is not Gilgamesh. And Seifer has nothing to do with it.

A hint: Think about "light"......"bringing endless night" in the first 2 lines....

The last part just means that he who defeats its, has the power to actually find it, by being powerful enough to get down to the end of the Deep Sea Research Centre.
