Ah....so "one (1) must stomp on the frenquency" meant 1 over Frenquency (1/F), which is equal to Period, T (1/F = T). And a period (T) also refers to Time, which leads us to Time Compression.
Nicely done. I'm impressed FE, that was logical! 
By hit on the exact right freuency, I meant that you must get the correct frequency, bang on, with no errors, in order for time compression to work. That's how I initially read "Stomp on the frequency".
