Irvine is a cool character, don't hate cuz he's horny. All guys are like Irvine in some way. I think that was FFVIII's goal. Make the characters one dimentional so that when brought together it reminds the player of aspects of one's self. Irvine is the lover, Selphie is the playful, Zell is the eager... and so on.
I still stand by Edward as the worst FF Character.

haha. I can't believe I didn't notice that before. Whoops, game designers.
Rosa's probably also my least favourite. The Foundation Guide, which never made it out of Japan, reveals her to be nothing more than a selfish whore. I'd be able to forgive her if Square had at least given her an interesting personality, but instead they decided to make her character as cliché-ridden as possible. Complete waste of a character.
However, reading the rest of this thread has reminded me why I don't look in this forum very often.

Well,I do admit Algus was an asshole.......it reminds me of the people living here in the stinkin' town & place.I just hate people like that,so snotty,rude....they don't accept others unlike him.I hate it.
