...aw, i won't do anything to contain the fires, but the Wutai epidemic ain't all that bad, maybe 'cuz i was too selfish to steal from myself. but really, rearranging materia isn't such a pain in the butt if you'll write down which ones you gave to each character.

Algus, that cheap little....I hate him so much! He's ugly (as most of the FFT characters...well, they weren't supposed to be good-looking anyway) and, fortunately, a big loser. Heh.

almost everyone in final fantasy 9 sucked, and i hate all those so-happy-they-make-you-want-to-choke-them-characters like SELPHIE and RIKKU. What do they have to be happy about? Their worlds are being destroyed! I like all the badasses

Battle-wise, I would have to say the worst character is Edward hands down. I can deal with someone being weak physically if they have the skills to make up for it, but even his skills were worthless.

Story-wise, Bartz gets my vote. He doesn't seem to have any personality whatsoever, and what exactly is his role. Galuf would have made a better lead character.

Other than his theme playing in the first world and the fact you get him first, I've seen no evidence Bartz is the main character, unless it was officially stated somewhere. Terra is a similar situation, but many don't consider her the MC. I don't unterstand it....

well, pretty much every FF site out there calls him the main character...

But that's a moot point. Because he still gets a lot more character development than, say, Mog. You just have to do his side quests.

Ok quit dissin my girls Aeris and Yuna they are both really good characters in the final fantasy series and they could both kick your butts. But to the point I think Quina is the worst character, I mean who wants some really big frog on their team who fights with a fork.

I don't like Relm. She's slightly annoying, and doesn't she hit on Edgar at some point? 10 year olds are not supposed to be horny, kthx. She's not a total waste of a character, though; she'd mildly awesome for her use of "fuddy duddy".

She definately wasn't the main character in my game. i didn't really use her unless I had to. I always considered Locke and Celes the main characters.
