It's called Square's Tom Sawyer, and it's for the Famicom. Good luck getting through it, though, since it's never been translated.

Because we're awesome. Not just any kind of awesome, mind you, we're like level 10 awesome.

The battle system is SOOOO cool. You actually run up to your enemies and beat them with your fists. I'm not sure what some of the enemies have to do with Tom Sawyer the novel, but man, they add so much depth and atmosphere to the game. There's also a part where you can see Rosa from FFIV completely naked. Yeah, it's that good. You're gonna LOVE what they did with Jim too.

    Hell's Yes.

Perhaps Jim was the original inspiration for the Black Mage?

    P.S.
That is Jim directly above the fist on the very bottom. I know, it's horribly racist (look at those lips!)

I think it was funnier this time than the first time I saw it.

I seem to remember in the 1980's there was a huge uproar in America about 'Sambo' dolls that were being sold in Japan. :rolleyes2

About as bad as minstrel shows, which used to be mainstream entertainment.

Pretty sure I remember seeing a Sambo homage in an anime a little while back. Ahh well.

I still can't hear anything about this game and keep a straight face. Truly a shame it's never been translated.
