I have heard the same thing. That the the deaths in schools trend is going down. That is overall of course(such as a 10 year span). of course all I got is what I heard and not actual statistics but meh.
Basic security and effecient police and death threats would be dealt with without these sort of "prevenitive measures". I mean it can't be too hard to allow teachers to be armed with tasers.. and I am certian that would drop someone fairly quickly. only real problem I see is that a taser's range isn't all that great.(21 to 25 ft if I recall, perhaps they should research to increase the range. Then again inside a building 21 to 25 ft is not exactly improbably to get inrange of).
