Final Fantasy XII..
I was looking at some screenshots of Final Fantasy XII for the first time today and I got to thinking about how much this game reminds me of Final Fantasy IX, Final Fantasy VIII and Star Wars all mixed together, lol. I normally don't look at screenshots or read about the storyline of a future Final Fantasy game because I want each game to be new to me and I don't want anything to be familar at all.

Yes! Finally someone else sees the resemblance to star wars! That black knight guy looks like Darth Vader, Barflear is probably meant to be Han Solo, Vaan seems like Luke Skywalker, and the princess, yeah, who does that remind you of? I also suspect that Vaan and Ashe are brother and sister and just don’t know it. That might be why we won’t get a love story this time around.

Ever since I first heard about FFXII they've been talking about Star Wars similarities. On top of that, the head developers of this game are huge Star Wars nuts (and well, that goes for most of the other games as well), so I hardly think it's coincidence.

And I haven't really noticed anything. I wouldn't mind balflear being a han solo type though
i definitely see the resemblance to star wars and a bit of FFIX, but im not so sure about FFVIII...
