Also those weird "Lose weight" Pills... >_>

Strangely, in 2 different commercials for those things, they showed the SAME before and After pictures...that could mean something...

I've actually heard on several instances now, a radio commercial where they'll read the side effects first before the actual commercial airs so a causal listener might believe that these side effects are meant for whatever came on before said commercial and not for the commercial itself. If there's a loophole, trust advertising to find it and exploit it.

    Take care all.

lol, well, these things always have side affects, and only to certain people. They have someone check to see if you can safely take it or not, but they could try to make the side effects as little as possible. I don't think I'll ever take medince that says stuff like that, no matter how desperte I was...

Kinda reminds me of a T.V. show I watched a while ago...

Forgot what it was called, but it said things like:

"He cannot transport himself anywhere even if he uses a wheelchair, he is going to die in 2 days, he has been paralyzed from the waist down, he cannot talk to his family one last time, he is unable to write his will, but he's okay!"

o_o Almost all Medicines will have side effects, but I still find it strange how when everyone is happy it tells you that it could make you miserable for a while... o.o

I generally see it happening because we're a society of drugs. We still want to believe that there's a pill to cure what ails us, no matter what it is, and thus the medicine industry tries to make medication that does it. Unfortunately, medication in general does stuff to your body, often stuff you probably don't want happening. However, people will buy it, some dismiss the side effects, some actually have such a bad case that the side effects are not as debilitating to them as the actual ailment. It just depends. Generally, though, the commercials are tailored to make you think you need that medication, which often results in certain... types of people calling their doctor and demanding whatever medication or threatening to sue. That's when things REALLY get sticky.

I don't mind them telling you about Side-Effects, but I mean when they tell you about it.

    Example: May cause hair loss...

That could mean that the Bald Guy in their commercial lost his hair from their product. And they tell you right when he comes on screen with that creepy smile on his face.

Funny. The Columbians never tell me about the side effects of the medicines they sell me, yet there seem to be plenty. What can I do?

Gotta decide which problem you're more willing to deal with. *shrug*

There was one side-effect of Cialis:

"<i>For erections lasting more than 4 hours, though rare, require immediate medical help.</i>"

I'm thinking, why would you need help? I don't think the wife would call for help if she knew the sex could last for 4 hours instead of 4 minutes.

That was my first thought too, DJ, but I guess if you're too inept to keep it up that long on your own then you probably shouldn't be doing such a heavy work out on pills.
