In my first playthrough I had him take Wakka's and then Auron's path and it was useful to have another bruiser on the team. In my current time through, I had him first take Rikku's, then I got tired of that and moved him to Wakkas. Even though it's nice at times to have two thiefs, I liked my original Kimahri a lot more.
