All races and people have rich cultural histories filled with triumph, pain, happiness, injustice and a myriad of states in between. I will never, ever understand how focusing on one of these histories and one of these histories alone is supposed to be at all helpful to the human race as a whole.

Personally, I feel that instead of focusing on the history of one particular race in one particular area of the world, we should use that effort to focus on the history of the entire human race, how we relate to one another any why what came to be came to be.
