Personally, I think this show is one of the best (probably THE best, aside from Fawlty Towers) British comedies there has ever been. What's everybody else's opinion?

Great stuff. I prefer the second series based in Elizabethan times myself, though they're all classics.

i love Blackadder, i think my favorite is the Third one, i love the expression on the prince's face when he thinks blackadder is the scarlet pimpernel, hillarious along with all the other moments in the series

The second series was the best, in my opinion.
I've got a copy of Blackadder: The Whole Damn Dynasty, which includes all the scripts plus some bonus material, like Baldrick's family tree and the Prince Regent's laundry list.

...A mere post is incapable of expressing the pure joy and admiration that dwells within my heart thanks to this greatest of TV shows.
