I discovered The Gaslight Anthem not long ago. I avoided them on account of their stupid name, but goddamn, their trout is catchy. They remind me of a mix between Against Me!, The Airborne Toxic Event and Alkaline Trio. So, post-punk, I guess?

You've been missing out. Gaslight Anthem is just good ol' rock with punk roots. Don't just a book by it's cover, don't judge a band by it's name!

That name does sound freaking awful.
But they're so good! If this first song doesn't make you have feels then you are probably Huxley or Pike or the Tin Man.
