Ok, I've seen these threads, and I've got to ask, wtf is the point?

I mean, do people really CARE that much to know EXACTLY what you're listening to at the point you posted, even though it's going to have changed by the time they've posted.

That and Travis are a horrifyingly whiny, talentless, awful awful band.

I for one find these threads to be quite useful. Often when I'm intended to burn a mix CD, I scan these threads for decent tracks that I may have missed. I trust the music taste of people here, so I can normally find something good.
