aaaaaah this smurfing song I love it so much
I just love her range - it generally sounds lower the average pop singer to me (though this song isn't a good representation of that). Something about it makes it sound like she's sad and that makes her sound a little alternative to me. I just wish she wasn't so poppy because I think I could legitimately enjoy her more if it weren't for all those pop beats and whosits and whatsits going on in the background of many of her songs.
Modern classic.
I prefer The Family Jewels to Electra Heart because it's far less electro-pop focused. That said, Electra Heart has Teen Idle, so it's not all badOriginally Posted by Shorty
