Midori's sound at the time was probably unprecedented (at least, I've never heard anyone before them who sounds remotely like them) and there are still very few bands that have covered even remotely similar ground. 385 is the only one that really comes close but they're still nowhere near being as vital and original as Midori were.

Just finished listening to Knock Madness, the recent Album from Hopsin.
And... wow. This album is great. This may be the best Rap Album I've ever heard.
Out of 18 songs, I will say, five I don't like, and one I don't really know what to think of. The other 12 tracks are just wonderful.
