I like chocobos, so obviously, i loved the race in the gold saucer in disc 1. just betting on the chocobos [later on] is kinda boring, i'd rather control the chocobo... is there any way to participate in the race?

You mean... You didn't know?
Capture a chocobo and keep it in the stables, then go back to the Gold Saucer and you can race again.
You can race as much as you like, you just have to train and groom your Chocobo's well first.
Ohhh... okay, thanks. I didn't know that. I knew that you can keep a chocobo in the stables but i didn't know that's how you got race again. I'll go catch one.. thank you!
