X-2 was pretty short even with the side-quests
FFV was pretty damn long if you had done all the jobs
FFIV, V and VI. If you stand them upright, the cartridges are much shorter than the NES cartridges or the PSX/PS2 discs

FFTA! i'm almost done with it! it's just a bunch of fighting and missions, then the end.
FF1 is all replay value so I will go with that.

FFMQ is VERY short. You can get halfway through the game in something like 5 minutes. I beat it in under a week.

It should be a no-brainer.

I'll go for Mystic Quest, even though I hardly consider that a Final Fantasy. No Amano artwork, no Uematsu music, (almost ) no storyline, no character personality whatsoever....
Let it be known that Werecanary hates FFVII, FFVIII, FFX, FFX-2 FFT, FFTA, FFXII, FFCC, and the various FFVII sequels.
