Will they ever be a good ending? :rolleyes2
Be nice.
I use the Center stretegy and the 2-1-4 formation. I can't remember all my players but it goes something like this:
Yuri, Tatts
Lucil
Zev Ronso, a Guado, guy with a cloak, someone else
Bartello
All the stats are maxed out. Yuri has 99 for everything and Lucil has 77 for everything. They're awesome. My team rocks.

The thing with FFX-2's blitzball was that you were basically coaching... have nothing againts coaching because I am one. But it wasnt that fun for me like the old one. No more Jecht Shot 2...or invisible shot...or......all those moves like FFX...But I must admit when you got very good, you got to face zanarkand abes and all that so that was fun except sometimes your players got injured leaving you in a tight spot.
I was hoping that they could make a blitzball game ya know?
Everyday I wish that I could be the one, for you...
OMG! I suck at it. I've never gotten one single point;; I think I'm Blitzball impaired. How are you guys so good at?

Play some exhibitoin matches against the Kilika Beasts to level up before you try your luck in the league. Also try to acquire some key free agents and put them where they will do best.

Oh... and what are those key things?
"Those who want a happy ending, have to write it themselves."
2-2-3 post play, offensive play to make those games get called faster
Shaami - Lucil - Miyu
Yuyui - Jaialai
Zalitz - Cahhan
Kwinn
Shammi: corkscrew shot
end: 53
atk:39
pas: 58 (special training)
sht: 72
blk: 31
cat: 5
rng: 125
rec: 166
Miyu: both techniques
end: 54
atk: 82 (special training)
pas: 41
sht: 73
blk: 39
cat: 0
rng: 110
rec: 210
Lucil: both techniques
end: 77
atk:77
pas: 77
sht: 77
blk: 77
cat: 0
rng: 177
rec: 177
(plus 77 reach isn't too bad)
Yuyui:
everything maxed out (255 rng and rec, 99 in end, atk, pas, sht, blk)
Jaialai:
end: 38
atk:75
pas: 80 (special training)
sht: 716
blk: 30
cat: 1
rng: 130
rec: 110
(plus 38 speed, which is slightly above average)
Zalitz:
end: 52
atk:42
pas: 56
sht: 28
blk: 72
cat: 0
rng: 91
rec: 150
(38 speed)
Cahhan:
end: 38
atk:51
pas: 76
sht: 11
blk: 74
cat: 0
rng: 132
rec: 72
Kwinn: 94 catch
on the bench: maxed out Ropp, not good enough for my team, just keep him for some reason.
Any suggestions for improvement? Oh and btw, does the blitz stats reset in new game+?
Anyway, I think this is just about maxed out, maybe Miyu or Shaami is missing a point or two in rec or sht, doesn't really matter though. Oh, and all players, including Kwinn, have got maxed out teamwork with all other players.

'Key' is an adjective that means 'vital' or 'important'. Meaning the free agency is important to having a well balanced team. Yuna & co aren't too bad when maxed out but they start so low that it would take too long to do so. Plus there are players with better max stats out there anyway.Originally Posted by Yuripa007

chaos: I sucked at Blitzball in FFX. I didn't get the whole levelling up system, and the opposite team was always at a higher level than me...
Rubedo: Sadly, the same went with FFX-2. I got creamed every time.
I loved Blitzball from Final Fantasy X, but the whole coaching thing from X-2 is very disappointing. Yes, they wanted to make it faster (a lot of complains about that) but coaching sucks! I wanna see action! I want Wakka, Tidus and the Besaid Aurochs!
I'm getting better at it but i'm still rubbish!! Keep playing the Exabition matches to level up and stuff!!

I sucked in Final Fantasy X too. I still can't play Blitzball in Final Fantasy X-2.... T____T

I only really remember Tidus's stats ATK: 14 Block:10 (or something like that) Catch: 3-5 END: almost 60 Shoot: 50 something Pass: 30 something Speed:60 something HP: in 6000s. Here are my other players in FFX.
RF:Eigaar
MF:Tidus
LF:Bickson
RDravv
LF:Brother
Goalie: Keepa
Note: You can get Wakka (at Lv.3 ewwwww) I found it out on the airship while he's standing in the bridge (or cockpit whatever) the same room you find Brother. In FFX.
