I think its a pretty sorry indictment on the Tories that the Labour party could be so unpopular, and yet still win by a large margin. I wanted the Lib Dems to do better than they did - admittedly they did overturn a 9000 vote Labour majority to take my constituency. And that's not just because of Iraq. It's was a pretty clear choice for me: Labour are no longer trustworthy, and the Conservatives are playing on the fears and phobias of the British people.

Plus, I'd never be caught dead supporting the Conservatives.

On the other hand, however, a hung parliament might have been interesting, as it would have forced Labour to side with the Lib Dems.
