at the end of ff7 when meteor was stopped by lifestream there was a flash of white light and then it goes 50 years later,ok heres what i dont understand when i watched the trailer to the ff7AC it said 2 years later (as in 2 years after meteor)so either someones screwed up or cloud and the others would be either deceased or in their 60's-70's

No one has screwed up. The end of FFVII was just a look at the long term future after the meteor events. Other stuff still took place before that happened. FF:AC is showing some of these events. It does not change the fact that hundreds of years later that scene will take place (the one with Red XIII and Midgar covered in plants).

According the end of FF7, we're left to assume that only Red XIII and his cubs still thrive 50 years later. There's no sign or indication at all that anybody else is even around. There were birds though. Lot of birds . . .
    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.

Yes, it is. In which case no one from AVALANCHE aside from XIII -- and possibly Vincent? -- should still be alive.

What is Vincent's real age in Final Fantasy VII supposed to be? 57, was it?

His lack of aging kind of reminds me of Lucrecia, and how she is still alive, and doesn't appear to be aging. Does Vincent have Jenova cells in his body, keeping him from aging? Or is his lack of aging just some other experimental process inflicted on him by Hojo? I could never really figure that out. I have a sinking feeling that this has been dicussed in a thread around here before, but I can't remember, so please forgive my question if that's the case.

He is. But (SPOILER)He was shot by Hojo 30 years before FF7, or something like that...so he was probably 27 when that happened. I'm not sure, i've not played it for a long time...
And i think he's still 27 in DC?

Yes, he's still 27 in Dirge of Cerburus. As was said earlier, he never ages, so no matter how many year in the future, he's still 27 technically.

He never ages thus he'll die . . . unless you chop his head off, ain't no one gonna survive that.
