I tried a few times and was not able to even hit the ball. I decide to use the club on the nearest random person instead.

I've heard it said that bowling is more popular than golf in the U.S., but they don't televise bowling tournaments as much because programming executives play a lot of golf, so that's what they want to watch.

It doesn't help that a stereotype about golf is that you need a lot of disposable income to play.
