    Default Necessary items for College?

    Just a quick one. I'm entering into College next year to undergo Culinary Arts and Business Administration (Exec Chefs need Business Admin - lots of money to work with that involves food planning) and I was curious what some necessary items for college are (don't say pencils and pens, etc.)

    I'm planning on purchasing a laptop (preferable an iBook from Apple) and a Palm Pilot.

    Anything else?
