God Loves Variety
In defense of modern cartoons, I think Aqua Teen Hunger Force is pretty golden. So is Family Guy and South Park, and none that I've listed have exceptional animation. Both of those are really funny and make me laugh, that's all.
But from back in the day, man. Mighty Max. The last Stonehenge episode made me lose sleep for days. And then it would all rerun all over again. But yeah, Mighty Max was tight.
Probably the Popples or the Raccoons.

I also watched a lot of Rupert back then.
My Little Pony, Rainbow Brite, Heman and Shera, Popples, Rose Petal Place... I watched a lot of cartoons. Probably about as much as I do now though.
Let's see. Racoons, Mighty Max, Transformers, He-Man, plus loads of classics like Scooby-Doo, Flintstones, and the more modern whacky ones when I was growing up, like Cow and Chicken, Ren and Stimpy etc.
There is no signature here. Move along.
I'm very thankful that my parents never got Cartoon Network and those crap channels when I was a kid.
I grew up with real cartoons, like Alfons Åberg.
Racoons and Transformers mostly.

I wasn't overly keen on the cartoon itself, but the theme song was excellent. "Michaelangelo - he's a party dude!"
