okay, okay, don't close this thread -- i ran a search on "Big Bird" and i found nothing in relation to it.
amidst all the wild theories and other threads about Square -- i think Big Bird is a chocobo. just look at him, big fluffs of yellow, obviously a good use for transportation. did Final Fantasy steal from Sesame Street or did Sesame Street steal from Final Fantasy.

I don't remember anyone actually using Big Bird for transport. The only thing I can see they have in common is they are birds and yellow, in which case you could say the same for any yellow birds =P He doesn't really look much like a chocobo, and I don't expect either company stole from the other. ^_^

Show me an instance where Big Bird goes "Kweehh!" or "Wark! Wark!"
It's obviously a chocobo that got too close to radioactive waste and gained enough knowledge to speak. Jeez, I thought that'd be obvious.
The itching sensation is a good thing.
If big bird was a chocobo, I think his brain must have been swapped with some other guy in a laboratory experiment, since it's not likely to gain the ability to speak AND lose your ability to Kweh and WARK!
