This is horribly accurate, the product that you smother your ground beef in is often formally called "Manwich Sauce". Delicious.
Theres a diner in the UK called Sloppy Joe's. It's actually really nice food there.

i know exactly how the sloppy joe got started. however it is a nasty story that even the creator of it didn't reviel until his dieing day. i'll leave it at the fact that its something i know and you don't want to know, because other wise you may never eat a sloppy joe again.
