It's basically steak fried like in the way KFC fries chicken, though, it's called Country Friend Steak. Whoever called it Chicken Fried Steak is a moron.

Chicken fried steak, country fried steak, same thing. I don't think I've ever heard it called "country fried steak", honestly. It's some good stuff, though.

It must be a southern thing. Down here, if you asked what a chicken fried steak was, you'd get shot with a few strange looks.
They are very delicious, but there are very few things less healthy than it, unfortunatly.
