The fourth one is about Tifa and Barret... (SPOILER)The whole time is sounds like they're talking about Tifa's... *ahems* and it turns out they're actually talking about melons Tifa appearitly grow, that were on the table behind Tifa... Barret was saying things like "They sure are firm" and other things, so it was very wrong. Yet funny. The fifth is randomness and can't actually be explained, but it's done in really bad stick figures.

    That minigame rocks!

EDIT - I got to level 30 before I got tired and quit.

EDIT again - They actually said, "Chobocobo baby!"

EDIT last - I want to play Final Fantasy A+ as a game. It's so cool!

    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

If Demolition Man were remade today

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.

YOU DO NOT KNOW what a 'bad' encounter rate is until you have played Tales of Phantasia (SNES).

Final Fantasy VII has a VERY tame encounter rate! Even Final Fanatasy X is much worse.

As do I... as do I... Peneke is so cute!

The encounter rate in X IS worse then VII's... I don't have any complaints about VII's really, as I could walk dencent distances before getting in any battles.

Man I wish they made it like Mystic Quest so you can see the monsters and avoid them. That would be the best!

I recommend you take time to look at LF's other movies as well. They are uber-awexome.

I don't think FF7's rate was bad at all. You want bad play Skies of Arcadia. Or... back in Saturn days there was Albert Odyssey. Games should let you take more than a couple freaking steps before a fight. I HATE random encounters. But FF7 didn't annoy me at all. plus there's materia to fix that...

Wait a minute... did that dude just call her "Tiffa"? It's TI-FA. After the notes on a scale. Do Ra Me FA So La TI

    They did, it's called FFXII.

I really don't understand why people think the random battles are too frequent. If FFVII was your first and last RPG I guess I could understand it better, but the encounter rate REALLY isn't that bad. I think probably FFII's or FFI's might be the harshest, or maybe it just feels like it is.

FFVII has excessively frequent random battles? My copy must be a bad one.

I actually thought it took WAY too long in between random encounters, especially when trying to level up. But I'm not a very patient person either.
