Well, for me choosing a favorite is just like choosing what to wear in the morning: you're never really sure.
But, some of my favs are:
FF7 (the first TRUE rpg i ever beat, and cause it's unrivaled)
FF6/FF9 (I can't pick a favorite between the two, but both have outstanding music, characters, and enviornments)
Chrono Trigger (just about the most fun i've had with an rpg)
Castlevania SOTN (incredible music (and i mean INCREDIBLE), sweet main character, amazing enviornments, super-tight controls, awesome manuevers, and just an overall INCREDIBLY ADDICTIVE game)
World of Warcraft sharing the first place with minish cap.
They both just rule. WoW ownzz all MMORPGs and minish cap all GBA games.
We need more people to play Xenogears. I guarantee some of you'd change your answer.
Wip3out.
Because of the beauty of the courses. The feeling of handling the racers like immersing your fingertips in mercury. Rushing around the bends to the sound of the sparkling Xpander Edit and the rest of the soundtrack. The sheer exhiliration of flying off the ramp at P-Mar Project and pulling the controls back just right to float like a leaf down again onto the track...
Money, power, sex... and elephants.

At the moment, Star Wars: Battlefront. I just really go for this kind of game, because the old you-are-sent-on-a-one-man-mission-and-are-basically-invincible standby gets annoying. There is a real sense of teamwork and you really get to feel how it is like being one of the average grunts (which admittedly kicks ass). It is all gameplay, to hell with cutting edge graphics (though the graphics are sensational), and there is none of the "Take-the-grenade-out-of-the-bag-pull-the-clip BS.
Also, come on, It's friggin Star Wars.

My favorite game as of the moment is Final Fantasy VII. The plot isn't the greatest out there, the characters aren't the most fleshed out, but it is a preference of mine for the type of story displayed by this game.
Not to be confused with the best game I've ever played, which is probably Actraiser.
To hell with Battletoads and Double Dragon.
THIS is the ultimate team.
The Legacy of Kain Series. This series has one of the best stories, the music is perfect for a game of this type and the voice acting is incredible.
WRESTLING:
In Canada, its a Tradition... in Mexico, its a Religion.... in Japan, its a Sport... in America.... Its a Joke.
I can't choose between Final Fantasy VIII and Drakengard. I think it's sort of funny that they're both not very "popular" games. Anyways.
FFVIII, because of the story and the characters. I know some people believe that the characters, besides Squall and Rinoa, weren't fleshed-out, or well-done at all, but I would have to disagree. I love the characters (specifically Zell, Irvine, Squall, Seifer, and Rinoa) and for that to be possible, you have to know them. The story is also beautiful, with the first disc being genius. I love it.![]()
And Drakengard I love for exactly the same reasons. The story is so original, disturbing, and dark---everything I look for in the perfect game. It's so engaging. The music is excellent as well, and I could use the same words I used for the story to describe it. The characters are also wonderful, and some of my favorite. Ever.
And there's a short, but good explanation.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, because it is, in my mind, the greatest videogame ever made. Ever.
The first RPG I ever played (that I knew was an RPG) was Crystalis. I wish I could still play, but I don't have a system for it.
Jack: How do you know?
Will: It's more of a feeling really.
Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?
Will: No.
If Demolition Man were remade today
Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
Huxley: NO!
Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
Spartan: But Huxley.
Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.
By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.
- Final Fantasy - Because the story's are excelent
- Pokemon - Because it's a popular thing show, cards etc
- Ham Ham Haertbreak - Because it's about my favorite show that I have liked since I was FIVE!
That's all I can thik of now
