I've beaten Omega once. You receive the Omega Badge after that.
I've defeated them both without equipment and extra abilities not too long ago.
I've beaten both of them, but I have yet to even attempt either under Ultima Shadow's challenge.
they're pretty easy with some special strategies!
Omega
Give one of your Charakters 2 weapons, X-Fight, use your Magicsword-command and use Bolt3 on him, then X-Fight --> instant death (at least 60.000 Damage)
Shinryuu
Try to get 4 Dragon Lances, make 4 Dragoons and let them Jump until Shinryuu ist dead (of course you need Coral Rings, but I think you figured it out already ;-)) or use X-Fight + 2 Dragon Lances for each Charakter and simply slay him down^^
