Square Enix working with Microsoft

The biggest story of the press conference surprised many attendees at the Shrine Auditorium. Microsoft announced that Square Enix, a longtime partner with Microsoft rivals Nintendo and Sony, will be bringing Final Fantasy XI to the Xbox 360 and Xbox Live.

So, Squenix finally heads towards the world of Microsoft. Thoughts?

I'm glad. It's really a bummer having a system and then having a bunch of really good games released on rival systems... for those of us who can barely afford the games, buying a new system is completly out of the question. I hope all FF games will eventually be cross-platformed.

I can see the good and bad side of things in this, but for me its kinda sick. I Find XBOX to be the incest rabbid retard kid birthed by an evil nostril monster that sucks all your money and gives u crap... and Square is falling into its very lures of doom...

That's somewhat of a relief to me. I'd heard that Square-Enix was going to do something for Xbox 360, but if it's just FFXI, I can probably just buy the PS3 rather than both that and XB360. Assuming, of course, that I can live without Blue Dragon, Ninety Nine Nights, and Bioware console games.
