Default Doubt about FFIX Instruction Manual

    Hi there!

Today, i bought Final F. IX (i could'nt find a new one, so it's used) and it has the 4 discs and a manual titled:

    FINAL FANTASY IX
    ONLINE STRATEGY GUIDE
    on
    PlayOnline.com

Is this the only manual the game has? Or is the other one missing (i'm questioning because all my other FF bring a manual that explains you even how to turn on your Playstation ) So? Is there a manual missing?

This is the FF Version (US)

    Thanks!

Uhh, yeah, there's definitely one missing. If it doesn't go over te basics about a lot of the things in the game, and is around 20-30 pages, then you have the little playonline paper thingie, but that is definitely not the booklet.

Yep. That's just a bonus. Like a teaser for the strategy guide. You're missing the actual instruction manual which is 30 pages and just has the Logo with a picture of the sky in the background.

After I first read that stupid PlayOnline manual, I went to the library to try get to that site . . . it wasn't up. Multiple times, I tried to get to the sites for FF8 and FF9 . . . no success. 8 didn't exist (apparently) and 9 was never completed. Square really didn't a lot of thought into it before they included the manual in the U.S. release.
    Jack: How do you know?

Will: It's more of a feeling really.

Jack: Well, that's not scientific. Feeling isn't knowing. Feeling is believing. If you believe it, you can't know because there's no knowing what you believe. Then again, no one should believe what they know either. Once you know anything that anything becomes unbelievable if only by virtue of the fact you now... know it. You know?

    Will: No.

If Demolition Man were remade today

Huxley: What's wrong? You broke contact.
Spartan: Contact? I didn't even touch you.
Huxley: Don't you want to make love?
Spartan: Is that what you call this? Why don't we just do it the old-fashioned way?
    Huxley: NO!
    Spartan: Whoa! Okay, calm down.
Huxley: Don't tell me to calm down!
Spartan: What's gotten into you? 'Cause it sure as hell wasn't me.
Huxley: Physical relations in the way of intercourse are no longer acceptable John Spartan.
Spartan: What? Why the hell not?
Huxley: It's the law, John. And for your information, the very idea that you suggested it makes me feel personally violated.
Spartan: Wait a minute... violated? Huxley what the hell are you accusing me of here?
Huxley: You need to leave, John.
    Spartan: But Huxley.
    Huxley: Get out!
Moments later Spartan is arrested for "violating" Huxley.

By the way, that's called satire. Get over it.

You can read some semblance of the actual manual online here. It's not great but it might help.

The official online strategy guide is still around. It's just not at PlayOnline anymore. Here's a link to it:
