    Default FFVII Official Strategy Guide

I am going to be starting FFVII again soon, but want to complete the game fully. I am thinking about buying the strategy guide, but thought Id ask here to see if anyone owns it. If you do, can you tell me if its worth buying?

Personally, I'd just use gameFAQs, but if you're an FF7 nut like myself, you'll want it for collection purposes or whatever (plus it's more comfortable than having to look and your comp and sit next to it, ect). It also has lots of interesting writing in it and pretty pictures.

So I say yes, it's definitely worth it (especially seeing as you can probably get it for less than $10 now).
    I like Kung-Fu.

Think this thru voodoochild.you can buy the guide for like a tenner or somthing or go on the internet to look. id pick the internet if i were you. some of the guides on the internet arent perfect but there are so many that if you add them all up nothing would be missed so you might want to look at more than one internet guide.

I don't think it's necessary. All the resources on GameFAQs are more than enough. Besides, those BradyGames strategy guides are chock-full of errors, which they can't correct once they've caught them, while online FAQ writers can easily submit an update.

BradyGames strategy guides were prettymuch universally atrocious in design and content until late in 2001, so the official FFVII guide is offensively useless. The unofficial guide put out by Versus Books, however, is the best strategy guide ever compiled.

You have the internet, why would you need a strategy guide?

but the internet has pictures too so only get the strategy guides if you want them as a collecters item.

Some do but theyre pretty rare but to be honest pictures barely ever help, they do some times though.

If you do choose to buy one I would recommend the PC version one. The game is the same except for the controller buttons and the guide is much more complete.
