I made this thread a year or so ago, and it received a good response, so...

When people swear, they sometimes apologise and then replace the swear word with something similar and less offensive. For example, instead of saying 'S**t', you'd say 'Sugar'. Instead of saying 'Bastard', you'd say 'Barstool' or 'Basket'.

Do any of you do this? If so, what do you say in place of the swear word?
