I need help, for some reason, I can not land in Palamecia Castle with my airship.
Apparently you have to be pretty precise about it, although I've never had any trouble.
Yeah, I freakin' tried that. For some reason, I can't land on the spoke, I push up, I land behind, I push down, I land on the rocks. For some reason, I can't get on the spoke.
it got me stuck for a while but what you want to do is land within 2 or 3 sqares of the castle and one of them is bound to be the one.

Yes, you have to push the land button a couple of squares above the castle and then the airship will land on the tower. I always forget that and get frustrated when I play through the game.

It's not so much 'a couple of squares'
it's more like 'barely breathe on the arrow and hope you barely move any'
I never had a problem. Guess I just got lucky.
I had a similiar problem in FF1 when I wanted to land in Lufenia. Is this Pal mecia or Pandemonium you have to go through the Jade portal for Pandemonium.

Because of the way they did the map (structures now stick up instead of lying flat), the place where you have to land actually looks completely wrong. Just go to the spot where it looks like you have to land then go up a couple spaces and try again. You'll eventually get it.
