Lavitz SLambert Vs. Cid Highwind...
I was thinking about this and was just curious, who would win in a spear fight? Lavitz Slamber of the first knighthood of Basil from Legend of Dragoon or Cid Highwind, the world's best pilot from Final Fantasy VII? This means no Jade dragoon armour or any materia, just straight up spear fight, who would win in your humble opinion?
Lavitz is a much more TALENTED spearman so in simple spear vs spear combat I am taking Lavitz hands down.
Noone can clearly see what I truly am nor can they see what I am not. In this I am the greatest of mysteries and noone has yet been able to solve it. If you see me you haven't seen me. If you don't see me then you might have just seen me. And in the end you are all left to wonder if I actually existed at all or if i was simply a trick played upon your feeble minds.
Definately Lavitz, he's my favorite video game character of all time. (Well, one of the many)
Well, Lavitz was a trained and talented knight for many years. Cid... is an aging pilot who only seems to have a spear because all the good weapons were taken. Nothing against Cid as a character, but he just isn't a warrior. Even if they were at equal skill levels, Cid's chain-smoking ways would lose to Lavitz's physical conditioning.
yeah, I'm guessing Lavitz is gonna win hands down.(oh yeah, sorry about the wrong forum, just thought 2 Square characters should go in General square forum) It might have been a better thread if it was Lavitz vs. Kain.
Also, I've noticed alot of people are huge fans of Legend of Dragoon AND it was made by Square (not to mention it sold pretty dang well) although it doesnt have its own forum here, Why not?
lavitz easy as he also has the dragoon power, and no the legend of dragoon was not made by square,seeing as how well it did don't you think they wouldv'e made a sequel by now?

Actually it wasn't made by Square. The Legend of Dragoon was designed by Sony. And, to be frank, I've seen little evidence that many people here hold LoD in high regard.Originally Posted by Dante WolfWood

Thats right, I remember now, it wasnt square, it was sony, excuse me for the mistake...but hey, I hold LoD in high regard (although it was very cliche) It had my fav. generic character: Lavitz!
Lavitz woud win, but he would die with passive smoke soon afterwards.
It's possible that Rabbits would win, but Cid DOES have those nifty limit breaks...
If it were Dragoon to Pilot with Cid's Dynamite and Highwind? No contest: Cid.
. . . but in absence of the aforementioned, it would have to be Lavitz.
