    Default FFVIII - PC Version

    Hi Folks
    For those of you on the PC Version, I would just like to know, what your computer specs are: :rolleyes2
    * AMD or Intel?
    * Chip socket (eg socket 478 etc)
    * video card chip and manufacturer (eg nvidia 5600)
    * PCI, AGP or PCI Express

    So mine would be
    Intel 3.4 socket 775
    nvidia 6600 PCI-Express

    Would help me in discovering the cause of an error I have.
    Thanks.

    You might want to tell us what your error is first.

    Yah it would, because the only thing I can say at this point is: nVidia.

    Hmmmm..... might be your directX drivers, since I have VIII for the PC, and my box is loaded with a PIV 2GHZ processer, 256 MB of ram, and a 64 MB Radeon GeForce 4 mmx vid card, and I've never had any problems with the game.

    I want it so bad. It came out in like, early 2000 I believe, so I doubt it takes a very powerful setup to run properly.
    I like Kung-Fu.
