Whoa!
Viewing .swf files
i would like to know about a program that runs .swf files. i got these files off the temporary internet files and i want them in 'my documents'. i'll double-click them and they'll open in IE but i kindda don't like that. i tried 'irfanview' but it only works for some files plus it wont let me type things (if such file is a game, for example). any suggestions?

They're shockwave/flash files.
My guess would be a shockwave or flash viewer.

If you have a Mac, Linux or a pocket PC, you can get the official standalone player. Otherwise, as far as I can tell, you have to use your browser or install Flash MX.
And then there is Death

There is a standalone viewer for windows, but I've forgotten how to get one or whether it's just called flash standalone viewer.
