Advent Children Release Date!

Hello! I'am new to EyesOnFF Forums here and I'd like to introduce myself. But I shall do that in another forum.
But to start off I would like to state some information on the new Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children release date.

Currently: The release date is September 14 and you ARE able to reserve it at your local GameStop. That is the current release date. Rumor has it that it will be released first off in UMD form for the PSP. Now the date may be pushed back and forth around but that it the current date. That farthest they shall push it back will be May 2006. Also they may be releasing a Limited Edition version of it when it comes out on DVD, which will be after the UMD version. This is how it is for now. Any information I obtain I shall inform all of you fans out there.

Where do I get my Information? I'am a manager at Gamestop and the Regional manager stations at my store and we swap info, from online rumors to Square-Enix information obtained by the managers.

If you have any other questions I shall answer them best to my knowledge

It's honestly up to you. If you want to go and find out at a Gamestop store, please be my guest. As of yesterday this is the information I got. The released date is on the computers at the stores unless it has been changed since yesterday but I highly doubt it. Trust me I would not lie about something I've been waiting forever for. n.n' But truthfully I knew posting this info would cause a stir, but this is what I know if anything changes, yes I will post it. But beileveing me is up to you. I'am not asking you to, just thought people would like to know.

if ya look at the official site of advent children (and it's trailors) you'll see the september 14 release date....BUT, as you already know, that doesn't mean the actual STORES will get it on that date...thanx for the info anyways

Its in our computer system as September 13th, thats when they'll ship it to us, and then we will be able to sell it the 14th.

i just looked it up on gamestop...looks like it is UMD first (crap)

that pushed May release you were talking about....was that for the DVD or the release for both versions in general

Dont pay Attention to the site. They take forever to update info like that. And when they do they play it safe by extending info like that. Its across the country on the system of gamestop un"videosyst" not under "PSP M" which means it under as a movie not a psp movie. Unless it changes I'll post it here.
