Actually, it is.
Yes it's a remake. They basically left most of the original game in tact, smoothed up the framerate, and then added 3 new playable characters (adding new power ups and ways to collect old stars or beat old bosses, etc...), 2 full new worlds as well as other special things to account for 30 new stars, there are of course all the characters' mini games, a multiplayer mode, and probably some more I'm missing.
It's true. This is a remake. But I don't consider that a bad thing. It's still a very good game. ^_^ But it still would have been nice to get an entirely new game. >_<
OMG I just got this today.Its bloody amazing, much better than the N64 one.
I still havn't completed it! my brothers been on it none stop, the last time i asked, he had 70+ stars, he only got it on the 2nd of june =O
I loved this game...id say it is definatly worth it....however i beat the whole conflabbed thing in well under a week...i found it easier than the original but thats probably because i knew how to get all the original 120 stars....very fun game though...infact i was just playing a couple mini games while fighting the final boss in Arc the Lad twilight of the spirits...(very difficult...i lost..) but regardless i was curious to know whats your high score for the mini game "Wanted" i just got 61 yesterday and i wanted to see my competition

Well, this kind of sucks. Nintendo is packaging Super Mario 64 DS with all their new Electric Blue colored systems for free. I should've waited.
