I see this has already started, and I'm afraid I've spent too much time working on my predictions to change format. However, my format is somewhat similar to Proto's - I'll just give an outline.

Also, I could be blind, but I didn't see a voting deadline on Award Guy's Ciddies Finalists thread, so how long would we have to be waiting for here?
I'm beginning to agree with the sentiment that this may influence voting, however. After reading all the stuff I've written, I can definitely see my biases present in the predictions (as I've written a short paragraph on my thoughts about the finalists for each category). Psy's method would reduce the influence these predictions will have, but it also takes the fun out of it - I had a lot of fun reading the predicters' thoughts last time, and I'd like to contribute the same this time around.
So I'll sit tight and wait until I'm called on, and perhaps make them more objective and less persuasive, and fit a standardized format a little bit better. But they are ready to go.
I would hope people would vote based upon their own opinion rather than entirely the opinions of others, so I don't really see any problem with showing your own predictions based upon your opinion. If someone is so weak-willed that they must follow the words of others only, that's a bigger problem than can be dealt with solely through a message board.

All these people provide a lot of help in so many different ways. Big D and The Captain are great EoEOers steeped in the ways of the world, Leeza and Xander effortlessly provide input on anything remotely artistic (something I can only appreciate and never do), cl_out is a great techy, and BoB deals with all the losers like <i>fig</i> who keep changing their names. It's difficult to compare, but when it comes down to it, BoB will win the admin award, clout will win the techy award, Leeza closes too many threads, Doc Sark is the dark horse, Xander will win some artist related award, and Big D and The Captain are really the same person, so it all works out in the end.

I was really surprised to be listed among the finalists for this award, or maybe I'm just too modest. In any case, of course I'm voting for me, but let's take a less biased look at the finalists. Necro can't be underrated, his FFIV "Ah, The Power of Cheese" is well-known enough. Strider and theundeadhero are Site Staff, so I don't know why they're here. My name is something..?, kikimm, and Dr. K are good people who come by regularly, but may not be exceptionally ingrained into everyone's psyche for them to be voted for. That leaves Hsu and Maxico to consider. Maxico has been whining for years about how no one reads his posts, and after chatting with him in #eoff yesterday, I can kinda see why.

To me, this is almost like Best Member, as posting is the majority of what a member does. When you think about it, whose posts are the most memorable? They don't have to be funny, although funny helps. It doesn't have to be informative, though that probably helps too. The only reason I know most of these guys is from #eoff. theundeadhero seems to post a lot in Site Staff without actually getting anything done, making him an ideal candidate for this Ciddie. I think Leeza has been the best about being on the ball with keeping things in line in GC and EoEO when the spam and flaming gets out of control. These last three are always so tough, both to comment on and to vote for. These are seriously some great finalists, and great members here at the board. I am inevitably drawn towards voting for the people I know best, for that is the easiest way out. But as objectively as possible, let's take a look. foa has a great personality, and is always fun to talk to. Leeza does close a bunch of threads, sure, but that doesn't take away from being a great poster. And ShlupQuack, well, is ShlupQuack. And whether you like her or not, you're not going to forget her. So you might as well like her. Resha is a 4th density being who exists in our world only as a ball of energy, like that thing from Men In Black - clearly a memorable character and one to consider while voting. Monkey is one crazy short little girl, and nightmares about her biting my toes off if I don't vote for her haunt me continually.
