I said 'lol' once, which was immediately followed by no less than fifteen seconds of silence by all persons in earshot. I had the urge to go home and find comfort at the end of a noose, but hey, I'm still here.

I say 'Oh Em Gee' and 'Double-U Tee Eff' frequently as inside jokes amongst my gamer friends, because no one else knows what we're talking about.

I say stuff like 'lol', 'omgwtf', 'brb', etc. Usually, I just pronounce the letters, like 'brb' = Bee Ar Bee. I said 'lol' to mum a few times, and she just stared blankly at me. Also, when I'm about to do something improtant, I'll often think 'Uh-oh, better save in case it goes wrong'. My life is going DIGITAL! O_O

I sometimes say lol when some one gets owned, pwned, or pwnt in real life situations.

For example, a person trying to sell stuff on the side of the street, getting a puddle splashed all over their wares deserves a nice, hearty LOL. Sometimes even as much as an LOLZ.

It's my boyfriends fault, because long long ago* when we were best friends, he and another few friends made me play CS:S, and then, I found it fun, and kept playing it with them, as my brother owned the game anyway.
