Tifa As Rinoa

Dare I say that Tifa looks more masculine than Rinoa, at least when comparing those two pictures?

Tifa's face, while still obviously that of a females, has a no-nonsense, strong, straight nose that reminds me of Seifer or Squall. Rinoa, on the other hand, had a very thin, delicate nose, with a tiny bit of an upturn at the end.

As said, Rinoa has a fuller, heart-shaped face, while Tifa has a long face compared to her. Tifa jaw-line and chin also seem to be much sharper and more drastic, adding to the 'masculinity' of her face. I honestly think it suits her though. I never pictured Tifa as a frail waif, like Rinoa, but as a girl-of-the-mountains, with strength in her features.

Tifa looks almost the same just that she's wearing clothes like rinoa and she lost some weight on a certain area...

When I first saw Rinoa in FF8 (back when it came out and I got it first day) I thought to myself, OMG.. Tifa's Back? Come on, Long Black hair, thin frame. Sexy.... Then I realized Rinoa's chest isn't quite as... out there, as Tifa's. (Also, Tifa was technically a brunette, but it came out as black on screen)I also thought Sephie and Yuna looked similar when X came out. Then FF9 had Garnet, and I was like, why must they have a thin chick with long black hair? But6 then she cut it and it was all good. But seriously, theres many girls that look very individual... Quistis, Freya, Quina, Eiko, Elena (NPC but still unique looking), Beatrix, Paine, Rikku. (All of this must be post FF7 because of graphical character displays or else you'd have Relm, Terra, Faris etc. etc.) I really think they should go back to odd hair colors, it was cool. Come on, Faris's Purple hair, Reina had pink, Hell, not too many blondes either (Rikku, Relm, Rosa and Celes.) Rydia and Terra's Green hair was cool too.

Back on topic, of course those pictures looked similar. If you had a picture of Jessica Simpson doing the same pose as Britney Spears, and they were wearing similar outfits and had the same hairstyle, you say the same thing.

I'll post two pics, one of each, tell me how similar they really look put together.

Actually, Tifa really does look like Laguna in that picture! Heh heh.... guess she does look kind of masculine. (Yeah, I know, Laguna was really feminine anyway, etc.)

I don't think she looks masculine. I think she just looks more mature. She's supposed to be 20-something, afterall. If she ended up looking like she was 16, I would have been scared.

Rinoa dosn't have big tits butt there both hot man i wish i was squall or cloud that'll be the day but now i'll just play the games after all i see Rinoa as somehow wierd but hot and Tifa is deffintly looks similar to Rinoa.

yeah they look similar but you dont need to buffed up to be a martial artist strength doesnt come from muscle it comes from ability speed and durability though i hardly have muscle but i still punch hard but hurts sometimes

I agree about the whole Tifa being identical to Aeris in this movie, but I knew that it was coming from when i first heard about the movie. I think that they should have kept Tifa the way she was. They are making it seem like she is the one ff character that you can see in every character when they are trying to make her like the others.
