Your Final Fantasy Series Party
Of all the single-player games that actually have named characters (ie not 'Fighter' 'Black Mage' etc), if you could have an overall group of six characters included in a game of their own, which would they be?
I haven't played enough of the early FF's so my choices are somewhat limited, but I'm sure you lot can come up with some interesting overall combinations.

Quina (funniest character ever + extremely useful in battles)
This party could actually be used for a pretty nice storyline + it's a good battle party.
Other characters I wanted to pick: Squall, Aeris, Vivi and Vincent.

Orlandu of course as the powerhouse
Sabin because if raised like a mage is god.
Beatrix because of her Shock ability and her strength
Yuna doubled as healer and summoner
Vivi Can't go without black magic

Sorry to my team of 8, but you make it 6 and throw away rules its gonna be crazy. Freya, i just didn't have room for you. Rydia, I needed a summoner who doubled as a White Mage.. you are a black. Red XIII, I don't need your speed here, same with you Locke... Reina, You are a great WM, but you cant summon like Yuna can. Auron, You know i like you more than Cloud, but man, you don't have omnislash.... Vivi, and Orlandu, you are too valuable for me to toss away.

Vivi (IX) - Double black trances, and the cutest black mage in all of FF.
Auron (X) - Somebody with a sword who can break damage limit.
Terra (VI) - One word. Espers.
Aeris (VII) - Healing limit breaks rock.
Quina (IX) - Best blue mage ever.
Kain (IV) - I'm a sucker for dragoons.
I Officially Dub this... the Hardass party.

I'm assuming that we're keeping the original game rules intact? in that case, Paine can be popped trained as a White Mage, Both Seifer and Squall can Junction magic high to keep everyoine alive, we can pop some Full Cure materia to Barret, and Amarant and Auron both have Self Healing Abilitys. (Chakra...and i forget what aurons was, but i believe he had them.)
Other than that....Everyones dies from ultra barrage of physical attacks. (saving MP to heal up or Summon)

Rydia - (FFIV) because she is green, and a black mage/summon master
Areis - (FFVII) because she is a heal master
Shadow - (FFVI) because he is a fight/throw/counter attck with doggy master
Gau - (FFVI) who doesnt love him? okay probably not a lot of people but i do
Cecil (dark knight) - (FFIV) Dark knight rocks my socks
Cloud - (FFVII) I like his hair do
