Celes and Locke*possibly spoilers*

So the relatiosnhip of Celes and Locke..Can it be considered as the "love story" of FFVI?
Celes seems to have feelings for Locke..But is it vice versa?I mean,Locke doesn't seem to let go of his past..What happened with Rachel,had surely a deep affect on him..So is Locke in some way trying to settle his past for the mistake that he believed he did,by protecting Celes?Or is it something more?

Same with General Leo and Terra..This relationship could probably grow in an unexpected way if (SPOILER)Leo didn't die..

I think in the ending movie it shows more of a Locke getting over Rachel's death and accepting Celes' advances.

General Leo and Terra I don't agree with. The only thing to really support that would be the conversation on the ship, but to me that seems more like a grown up conversation than blooming love.

I don't think that Locke & Celes would ever get together, they sometimes have good moments but then sometimes have bad moments. If they did get together it'd be a rocky relationship. I think Locke & Rachel were meant for each other, Locke should go & throw himself in Ultros' mouth, then he could join Rachel.

As for Terra & General Leo, they only understood each other in a conversational way... there was no love there between them.

I personally believe that there may be enough between Locke and Celes for a relationship (as Locke clearly demonstrates by the end of the game that he's finally ready to leave his past behind and move on). I couldn't say if it'd be a successful relationship or not, but since Celes obviously shows that she has feelings for him, and since Locke opens up to her more after the Phoenix Cave/Kohlingen event, it's quite possible they'd end up together some time after defeating Kefka.

Now as for Terra and Leo, I never really interpreted their relationship as something romantic. Maybe it's just me, but I think Leo being Leo, he felt guilt for what Kefka and the Empire did to Terra, and by helping her, he probably thought he could redeem himself. I think his concerns for her were more akin to that of a big brother figure, or at least that of a good friend. You'll notice that most of the Returners show the same type of concern toward Terra; they know how much she suffered and that she's pretty strong despite her appearance, but they don't want her to get hurt again or feel sad and lonely.

And well, just because the conversation Terra and Leo had on the ship was about love, I don't think it automatically means they had romantic feelings for each other. In a sense, I feel that Leo related to her in that scene. Being a general, he probably never really got into a serious relationship in his youth (if he even got into a romantic relationship at all), so he might have known what she was going through. He wanted to reassure her; Terra's young, and she was under the control of the Empire for so long, it's no surprise she never learned what love is, but she would in time.

Besides, it wasn't really romantic love they were talking about, but what love is in general. >_> Leo had probably planned to talk to her more in dept about how friends and family can show her what love is, but then, we all know what happened to Leo, so that talk never took place.

Personally, I think Locke and Celes are a good possibility, but Leo and Terra? Heck no! Terra and Edgar...I think they should be together because Edgar needs someone to love, Terra doesn't know what love is...Just think about it. They make such an adorable couple!!!!!!!!!

Another thing: Okay, I have absolutely nothing against gays, but really. Edgar is NOT gay in the game...at least the version I have anyway. He's all over Terra the whole game and simply talks to other male members of the team. Where do you see gayness in that?

I didn't say that Terra and Leo <3..I just stated that maybe something could happen between them,if Leo didn't have that fate..The game itself doen't show so much concerning them,byt they do seem to have a special relationship..

I do think there is a good possibility that Celes and Locke could get together.

As for General Leo and Terra. There may have been a chance if you know what didn't happen. However it most likely would only have been a strong freindship.

I think it's a good possibility that, given time, Celes and Locke would get together, though I somehow dont see that relationship working out. Maybe just because I'm a sucker for the Terra/Locke pairing :skull3:. As for Terra/Leo, I dont think it could have blossomed even after time. I just dont see Leo being with anyone, really.

too true.. but I think out of anyone in game Terra would be the best fit.. not that it would mean it would happen.. but there might be a *slight possibility. And I am also a fan of Terra/Locke(don't know why) but Celes and Locke(I put terra originally O_o) seem to get along fairly well towards the end.

I believe that Celes should be shot, stabbed, bitten, maimed, and killed before Locke ever has a chance to entertain teh thought of being with her.

Locke/Celes is one of the main reasons I have to loathe celes.

Meh, when I first started FFVI, I thought Locke would end up with Terra. Besides, when you search for Locke+Terra hentai, you get over 22000 hits, compared to Locke and Celes, which was just over 500.
