Because it's annoying to read when it really doesn't take that much longer to type the words out.
but i find it very annoying when it takes not as long to type and it is quicker to read

It's not quicker to read if you don't know what all the words are. I don't know what 75% of them stand for since I don't type like that and have no desire to learn themI learned english once and I don't feel like learning a new crappier version of it.
I dont mind msn language much but i always type words the only things i change are "U" and little things like that, its harder to type like "Dat" and "Dat gr8" whats the point?

Language used in text messages(txt msgs) thats been shortened because its faster and slightly cheaper than using proper punctuation. Its irritating online when in message boards because you're at no loss to use ounctuation and reading without punctuation is irritating.What's msn language? o.O

Sometimes it sounds like I'm using msn language because i type too fast for my brain to keep up, and my words go into each other and i press the space bar too soon and i get a word with an additional s or a or something stupid like that. But what i hate most is slipping keys, stupid slippery keys! *bash keyboard*
