    Liberi Fatali.

    Translated: Children of Fate.
My friend Delzethin is currently running a GoFundMe account to pay for some extended medical troubles he's had. He's had chronic issues and lifetime troubles that have really crippled his career opportunities, and he's trying to get enough funding to get back to a stable medical situation. If you like his content, please support his GoFundMe, or even just contribute to his Patreon.

He can really use a hand with this, and any support you can offer is appreciated.

Actually, "Liberi Fatali" translates directly to "Fated Children." This is admittedly a minor difference, but one that has been discussed before.

The lyrics (taken from the main site) are as follows.

Excitate vos e somno, liberi fatali
    Somnus non eat.

    Surgite
    Inventite hortum veritatis

    Ardente veritate

    Ardente veritate
    Incendite tenebras mundi

    Valete, liberi
    Diebus fatalibus

    Fithos lusec wecos vinosec
    Fithos lusec wecos vinosec

An English translation, also taken from the main site, is:

Awaken yourselves from sleep, my children.
    This is not a cradle.
Awaken yourselves from sleep, fated children.
    Sleep does not advance.

    Rise up.
Seek in the garden of truth.

Burning with the fires of truth
Sear with flame the darkness of the world.
Burning with the fires of truth
Kindle to ash the evil of the spirit.

    Be strong, children,
    on that fated day.

    Fithos lusec wecos vinosec
    Fithos lusec wecos vinosec
    Fithos lusec wecos vinosec
    Fithos lusec wecos vinosec
"Fithos Lusec Wecos Vinosec," the familiar chant from the game, remains untranslated because it is not actually Latin (or any other language). Rather, it is an anagram for two of the game's central concepts: "succession of witches" and "love."

    It's not mumbojumbo. It's Latin.

I've never seen an english translation before, and good God that's some really shoddy Latin. I pride myself in knowing the language well and if I were translating just the title it would be To The Fatal Book. Obviously not what Square was going for. There are other weird constructions and translations throughout. Kind of weird.

I love latin, it makes everything sound so epic and crazy.

it's an anagram of "succession of witches" plus "love", the two themes of the game. Sounds pretty farfetched and weird, but that's what I was told once (and I checked it too).

Gosh. Latin is a funny language, but also bloody hard. I have it in school as an alternative, but boy I'm this close to quitting >.<

By the way there's either a translation error or then the original writers of the song didn't get it right:
    cunae non sunt
the word "sunt" is a plural form of the verb "est" (which is "is" in english), and therefore the translation should go "These are not cradles". Though about "cunae" I don't remember if it's in plural or not - it's been a while since I've last been on a latin course *cough* but I know the verb formation by heart x.x and that's for sure.
btw, if you're interested, the formation goes
    (I am) sum
    (you are) es
    (he/it is) est
    (we are) sumus
    (you are) estis
    (they are) sunt

    Fevered lovers and austere thinkers
Love equally, in their ripe season
Cats powerful and gentle, pride of the house
Like them they feel the cold, like them are sedentary

    - Charles Baudelaire
    I'm listening to...
